What Is a Diesel Engine Starter Motor?

The diesel engine starter motor is mainly composed of three parts: a transmission mechanism, an electromagnetic switch and a DC motor. The working principle of the starter motor is to convert the electrical energy of the battery into mechanical energy, drive the flywheel ring gear on the diesel engine to rotate, and start the diesel engine. How Does a Diesel Engine Starter Motor Work?
